When you need it

Four questions only a blind test answers.

Category

Beat the one to beat

Your product against the market leader.

Private label

Does ours hold up?

Evidence that carries a supplier negotiation.

Recipe

Old vs new, honestly

Did the change help, hurt or pass unnoticed?

Brand & pack

What is your pack worth?

Blind, then branded: what your brand adds, or costs.

Take the logo away and ask again.

Then you know what you actually have.

Before you ask

What teams ask about a blind benchmark.

Will this hold up in a supplier negotiation?

That is what it is designed for: blind, significance tested, signed by a senior sensory scientist. Built for the reader on the other side of the table.

Our internal panel already did a tasting. Why pay for this?

An internal panel knows the products and knows which answer is convenient. Third party blind evidence is the only kind that carries weight outside your own building.

Can we use the result as an on pack claim?

Sometimes, depending on the claim. A public preference claim needs a design built to that standard from the start, so say so at the brief.

What does it cost?

Driven by the number of products and whether samples need preparing. We buy competitor product at retail and include it in the quote. Fixed scope within 24 hours.

What if we lose?

Then you found out privately, at a fraction of what finding out publicly costs, and you know which attributes to work on. We report the result either way.
